MagniLink U Student offers the possibility of connection to a computer system and uses split screen technique between reading camera, distance camera and computer on the same monitor. The system is primarily developed and adapted for school environments. 

A user-friendly video magnifier

MagniLink U Student can be connected to a computer. The screen can easily show the image from the reading camera, distance camera, full computer image, or all simultaneously on the same screen, using continuous split screen technique. Its main features, besides great picture quality, are positive and negative images with increased contrast, artificial colours and reference line. MagniLink U Student is designed with plenty of space under the camera, which simplifies writing, painting and other work with your hands. 

A flexible video magnifier

MagniLink U Student is easy to use and perfect for stationary solutions in schools. The system is flexible, and several models are available. The basic model, MagniLink U Student is equipped with a halogen lamp and MagniLink U Student PRO is equipped with a fluorescent lamp that provides a very uniform light. In both models, the magnification starts at 1,6 (with a 19” monitor), which gives a good overview.

If a user wishes to separate the distance camera from the system, a distance kit is available as an accessory which allows easy positioning of the distance camera on the wall. This is useful in schools when the distance camera needs to be placed somewhere that does not block the view of the whiteboard, regardless of where the user is in the classroom.
