Can I change the height of the system?

Yes, you can easily raise or lower the screen by unscrewing the four knobs on the back of the screen.

Why can I not pull out my reading table to its maximum?

This may occur after a period of use. Move the table back and forth and increase the power gradually until the reading table is pulled out to its maximum.
